About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, battle-tested Door-Knocking Program Manager to build, lead, and scale multiple door-to-door sales teams for our Roof Maxx rejuvenation, residential roofing, and commercial roofingdivisions across Fresno, Clovis, Madera, and the surrounding Central Valley.

This role is best suited for someone who comes from a solar door-knocking background and understands team building, recruiting, training, and motivating large field teams. You must be a natural leader and recruiter with the ability to manage performance, hit aggressive KPIs, and create a winning culture in the field.

You will be responsible for assembling door-knocking teams from scratch and scaling them into Fresno, Modesto, Sacramento, and other territories over time.

Key Responsibilities

Team Building & Recruiting

  • Build multiple door-knocking teams (2–10+ reps per team).

  • Recruit, screen, hire, and onboard new door-knockers weekly.

  • Run group orientations and field training sessions.

  • Manage churn and maintain consistent team headcount and production.

Field Leadership & Sales Operations

  • Lead teams in the field daily, driving performance and KPIs.

  • Knock doors with teams when needed and demonstrate proper approach.

  • Train reps on:

    • Script mastery

    • Objection handling

    • Territory strategy

    • Setting qualified appointments

    • Roof Maxx product knowledge

  • Ensure teams meet weekly appointment quotas and show rates.

Coaching & Performance Management

  • Hold daily and weekly meetings, training, and accountability sessions.

  • Track KPIs (doors knocked, contacts, leads, appointments, conversions).

  • Enforce standards, discipline, incentives, and team culture.

  • Identify underperformers early and take corrective action.

Territory & Growth Strategy

  • Build a Fresno core team, then expand:

    • Modesto

    • Sacramento

    • San Jose / Bay Area

  • Create weekly door maps, territory rotations, and optimal neighborhoods.

  • Work with leadership to refine scripts, marketing pieces, and offers.

Admin & Reporting

  • Submit daily activity reports.

  • Track all leads into CRM.

  • Manage team payroll/commissions and performance bonuses.

  • Report team performance metrics to ownership weekly.

Required Experience

  • 2–5+ years experience in solar, roofing, home services, alarm, or pest door-knocking sales.

  • 1–3+ years managing OR leading door-to-door teams.

  • Strong recruiter — must be able to fill your team fast.

  • Experience building sales scripts, training systems, and incentives.

  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding KPIs.

  • Comfortable working evenings and occasional Saturdays.

  • Valid driver’s license; must be able to travel within the Central Valley.

Compensation

  • Base pay (DOE)

  • Very high commissions + overrides on all team performance

  • Bonuses for:

    • Team size

    • Appointment volume

    • Revenue performance

    • Multi-team management

Top performers can earn six figures with team overrides.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
